Engem sem kell félteni. :o Én sem ülök fel az ilyen hülye híreknek v. inkább híreszteléseknek.
Teljesen értelmetlen ilyen cikkekkel foglalkozni. Szerintem.

Reshad Jones - DB - DolphinsReshad Jones ran with the starters at free safety during the majority of the Dolphins' scrimmage Sunday.
Jones appears to have a leg up on Chris Clemons in the battle to start next to Yeremiah Bell. "Reshad in the last couple practices has been around the ball. He's been more physical," coach Tony Sparano said.

When the Dolphins take the field for their first preseason game against the Falcons on Friday, don’t expect to see a squad trying desperately to defeat the opposition.Coach Tony Sparano said his team will not spend the next several practice preparing for the Falcons. It won’t build a comprehensive game plan specific to Atlanta, instead focusing on its goals at this point in camp.
“We are not going to use this as a game week,” Sparano said. “We really aren’t going to prepare at all for Atlanta, just go down there and kind of decide what we want to run and get a look at some things.
“It is going to be hard to use these early preseason games as anything other than practice opportunities to see players and to get them some work.”
Had this been last year, the Dolphins would have already conducted 12 or 13 practices. But right now, they have had only eight — and only a few of those have included their free agent signings because they had to wait for the collective bargaining agreement to be ratified.
Instead, expect the Dolphins to keep practicing as usual this week, using perhaps the last two preseason games as more glorified dress rehearsals that will include preparations for the opponent.
LEARNING CURVE
The rapid installation of the team’s new playbook continues to make progress. The scrimmage provided a good indication — given the necessary interaction between coaches on the sideline and players on the field — to gauge their development.
“I think they are handling it really well,” Sparano said. “We probably had two times where we didn’t get lined up properly out there [Sunday], and that’s really positive.
“We took 68 scrimmage snaps out there in really less than an hour. So we got in and out of the huddle from the sideline, personnel being sent in by the guys that are going to do it in the game. The coaches did a good job of handling that, as well.”
DANSBY DRILL
At one point during Sunday’s morning walk-through, Sparano didn’t understand why linebacker Karlos Dansby was having such an in-depth conversation on the sideline with the team’s longtime equipment manager, Joe Cimino.
It turns out, Dansby was talking about some type of drill that would allow him to improve his skills when in a position to make an interception. A few hours later, during the scrimmage, Dansby made a nice pick on a short throw by Chad Henne at the goal line.
“So it paid off already,” Sparano said.
CAMP BATTLES
There’s a legitimate competition at free safety during the next few weeks. While Chris Clemons isn’t doing anything to lose his spot, Reshad Jones is getting increased opportunities to show his stuff.
Jones, a second-year pro, saw time with the first-team defense Sunday in the nickel package.
“Reshad in the last couple practices has been around the ball,” Sparano said. “He’s been more physical. You know, the blitz portion of things lately has involved some of those guys, and I’ve felt Reshad a bunch in the last two or three practices.”
NOTABLE
Center Mike Pouncey seems to be getting repetitions with multiple quarterbacks Sunday, one of the few players to see action with the starters and the backups as he undergoes a crash course to get him ready to be a starter as a rookie.
The focus remains on building his chemistry with the first-team offense, particularly with quarterback Chad Henne. But the added repetitions make sense.
Despite one bad exchange that was fumbled by rookie quarterback Pat Devlin, Pouncey seems to be growing more comfortable at this level because of the increased action.
“Mike did some things today from a recognition standpoint that he didn’t do two days ago,” Sparano said. “You know, two days ago we started a package here in practice from a pressure standpoint that a young guy coming in can struggle with that and he handled it OK. But [Sunday] he handled it very well. He doesn’t have to be told a lot.
“He gets it and a football guy and spends a lot of time at it.”
PRACTICE SCHEDULE
Players have the day off Monday. They will resume practice at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Nova Southeastern. It is free and open to the public.
The team also practices at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
QUOTABLE
Cornerback Sean Smith on offense-dominated scrimmage: “When the defense is doing good, it’s really quiet out there. But it’s good to see the offense get the crowd going because they’re doing it against one of the best defenses in the league, in my opinion.”
