TRADE of CBs: The Vikings acquired Nahshon Wright from the Cowboys in exchange for Andrew Booth. Trade is pending physicals. Thus ends the Vikings tenure for Booth, who was their second-round pick in 2022.

Vikings HC Kevin O’Connell told reporters that QB Sam Darnold will start Saturday’s preseason opener before the team then turns to J.J. McCarthy.
