Olvasgatva a biográfiáját, szerintem előrelép a csapat ezzel a cserével.

Természetesen egyből be is indultak a találgatások, hogyan befolyásolhatja ez a hátralévő két hétben néhány recruit döntését, és be is dobták a legjobb DE-nek tartott Byron Cowart nevét is, aki nem tűnik túl magabiztosnak annak kapcsán, hova is kötelezze el magát -- "Cowart seems to change his mind daily, so stay tuned."

Possesses an elite blend of size, speed and range. Is tall and long and has a huge catch radius. Possesses rare speed for a player of his size and height. Couple that with excellent coordination and body control and you have the opportunity for a big play on each play.

Ball Skills
This is the area he must focus on the most as a wide receiver. Isn't always as natural catching the football as he should be. He attacks the football and will elevate to secure the jump ball. Plays like a power forward in contested match-ups and he does flash the acrobatic grab. He secures the ball quickly and does catch the ball with his hands extended.

Versatility
This is what makes this player unique. Outside of the offensive line he could literally play every position on the field and while we believe he's either a wide receiver or safety, he shines at this level as a rush defensive end. His speed and first step explosiveness are outstanding. If he weighed more he'd be a legit candidate as an end. He's a natural playmaker that has good football instincts.

Big Play Ability
One of the biggest homerun threats in this class on offense due to his pure speed. He can stretch the field in a hurry and will win just about any footrace he is in. He has some wiggle despite being high cut and can make defenders miss after the catch. If he catches a crease, it's over. He makes plays in all three phases of the game and loves to compete. He's a field position changer just about every time he catches the ball.

Bottom Line
There are very few players that possess Campbell's skill set and size. He is a bit of a short strider, but he is also flexible. Once he is devoted to one position fulltime his development will accelerate. He gives coaches a ton of flexibility from a positional standpoint. Will be one of the most highly sought after prospects in this class in terms of athleticism.

STRENGTHS: Excellent athlete with eye-popping size and speed measurables. A legit vertical threat who can stretch the field on offense. Displays a long wingspan on a very tall frame for a receiver. Runs extremely well and is a major mismatch on corners when positioned one-on-one. Shows great range and length with a quick initial burst covering ground on defense. Demonstrates good instincts in pursuit and will finish plays. Possesses good ball skills and is very solid in zone coverage closing on the pass from depth. ... AREAS OF IMPROVEMENT: Can continue to refine his route running and become more consistent with his hands. Would benefit from adding bulk and strength to his frame. Not presently an overpowering downhill run defender on defense. ...

BOTTOM LINE: Campbell is an ultra-versatile and athletic prospect with great speed and rare athleticism and ball skills for a player with his height and length. RB poszton megvan a pótlás, a Dalvin Cook, Mario Pender, Ryan Green trió mindenképpen jól hangzik.
WR poszton is ott van Travis Rudolph, Ermon Lane, Bobo Wilson, szóval miattuk sem aggódom, itt csak a depth lehet kérdés.
Ami húzósabb lesz, az a TE poszt, na és leginkább a támadófal, hiszen onnan MINDENKI távozik az alap kezdőből.
Mögöttük pedig eddig csak Rod Johnson és Ryan Hoefeld kapott lehetőséget - öt ill. négy meccset - Barron sérülése miatt, mindenki másnak teljesen új lesz a lehetőség. A potenciál persze megvan a leendő kezdőkben, mert érkeztek top tehetségek az elmúlt években, de azért nagyon érdekes lesz majd olvasni a tavaszi híreket.

A védelem legalább egyben marad, a backup DE/LB Chris Casher és a backup DB Nick Waisome végzős csak, azt pedig nem gondolom, hogy a juniorokból bárki profinak állna.

Egy ilyen szinten újjáépülő offense-zel a jövő év elég érdekesen alakulhat majd.
