One other thought about @Raiders minicamp: Very impressed by how healthy Kirk Cousins looks. Far closer to Vikings Cousins than Falcons Cousins. You never know how things will play out, but whenever Fernando is ready, Cousins could be an attractive option for a contending team, should they need a QB at some point.

If it is on the first day of OTAs, I'm at the bottom of the totem poll, I've got to prove myself. I can't miss practice. Raiders No. 1 pick QB Fernando Mendoza has been working extensively under center at rookie minicamp as he transitions to Klint Kubiak’s offensive system.

In three college seasons (two at California and one at Indiana), Mendoza took just five snaps under center, and mentioned that the added footwork has been the biggest adjustment to playing under center over the last two days.

“Instead of being back there in shotgun, we have to get back to make sure you best serve your offensive linemen, still be on time [and] still decipher the defense. And with that, actually having an emphasis on those first two steps, on securing the snap and getting out of there, and [being] powerful with having quick feet,” Mendoza said.

To make his transition smoother, Mendoza has conducted walk-throughs at the team hotel with the fellow rookies during the last two nights before practice, taking 25 to 50 snaps under center with each offensive lineman.

Mendoza has also taken the time to study Kubiak’s offense and the footwork of other quarterbacks who have mastered the scheme, including his teammate Kirk Cousins and Super Bowl winner Sam Darnold.

Szép nagy állat baszki! 😊 Bár sajnos nem hiszem, hogy ő bármire is megoldás lesz, de hátha kiforrja magát.
Az a baj hogy rögbizett eddig igazából, kb két éve foglalkozik amerikai focival, amiből egy évet OG-ként edzett, ami persze nem baj, mert a másik oldalt is meg kell ismerni. 😊

Nem lennék ebben ennyire biztos.
RB1 és RB2 megoldva persze és Hemby simán lehet befutó a RB3 posztra, de azért tavaly Jeanty pass blocking terén nem volt meggyőző és nem biztos, hogy rá vagy rookie-ra akarják majd emiatt a 3rd down RB szerepet tenni teljesen. Pusztán emiatt érkezhet esetleg beterán 3rd down back. Najee Harris-el korábban egyeztetett a csapat, azt el tudom képzelni, hogy vele kapcsolatban maradnak, megnézik mit tudnak a fiatalok, kiderül hol tart Ő egészségileg...

DT/NT posztra D.J. Reader lehet még erős igazolás
