Titus nemcsak az edzésekről tiltották ki hanem a csapat összes létesítményéből.
A tavalyi draft classból már csak Hogue az egyetlen akinek nem volt semmi ügye.

Azt olvastam, hogy Tullochnak a szalagja húzódott, de hogy ez neki elég gyakori volt az előző években is, hogy a felkészülésről pár hetet kihagyott emiatt. Jó lesz Ő így is, bőven időben harcképes lesz már.
Ez a Titus sztori ez kemény, kíváncsi volnék az ütés okára. Mondjuk Titust eddig se az eszéért szerettük, de most könnyedén akár ki is játszhatja magát a csapatból, ha esetleg folytatása lesz a dolognak.

Legjobb korban van, a wide9 kedvez a játékának. Nála mindig is a runstop volt a kérdőjel.

Ha Fairley a várt minőségben tolja középen és Suh-t továbbra is duplázzák (néha triplázzák) akkor egy az egyben villoghat.

A RB kérdés pedig olyan,hogy hol az az egy?Janek

Ha csak a képességeket nézzük akkor a KVB-Suh-Fairley-Avril négyes ligaelit lehet(ne) passrushban. Futás ellen már vannak (nagy) kétségeim. Büntetésekben meg valóban ligaelit, de ez ugye nem nagy pozitívum...

A futóknál nagyon jó lehetne ez a hármas, csak egy meccsnél egyik sem bír többet. Ami szintén nem előny. Kellene nekünk 16 ligaelit RB, minden meccsre egy.

Szerintem is kérdéses az a Dline,mármint,hogy ligaelit lehet.

Here are five reasons the Detroit Lions could win Super Bowl XLVII.

1. Matthew Stafford, QB -- It is very hard to win a Super Bowl title with an average quarterback, unless your name is Trent Dilfer and you have the Baltimore Ravens defense as insurance. Stafford threw for 5,038 yards, 41 touchdowns and 16 interceptions last season. He went from not being able to stay healthy to incredible in one season. The only unknown is if Stafford can play like that every year or was last season the exception. If Stafford is as good as last year's statistics suggest, Detroit has a great shot at winning this year's Super Bowl.

2. Lions running game -- The Houston Texans and Carolina Panthers arguably have the NFL's two best backfields right now. Houston has Arian Foster, Ben Tate and Derrick Ward; Carolina's DeAngelo Williams, Jonathan Stewart and Mike Tolbert are arguably second best, while the combination of Chicago running backs Matt Forte and Michael Bush deserves recognition. Detroit potentially could have an outstanding backfield with Jahvid Best, Mikel Leshoure and Kevin Smith. Those three could become the league's best backfield, but must stay healthy in 2012. If Detroit's running backs can stay healthy, the Lions have a great chance.

3. Detroit's defensive line -- Say what you want to about Ndamukong Suh, but he is still a premier defensive tackle in the NFL. Suh, Nick Fairley, Cliff Avril and Kyle Vanden Bosch could become a fearsome foursome in the NFL. If Fairley is healthy this season, the Lions should be able to apply consistent quarterback pressure this season. The big question is if Detroit is ready to displace the New York Giants as the NFL's top defensive line. If the answer is yes, Detroit could party in New Orleans.

4. Megatron -- Calvin Johnson is the league's best receiver, with all due apologies to Houston's Andre Johnson and Arizona's Larry Fitzgerald. He is Detroit's offense. The Lions cannot win many games without Johnson in its lineup, a fact ownership recognized when it gave him a seven-year contract extension worth $132 million this offseason. If Johnson can be as dominant as he was last season - 96 receptions, 1,681 yards and 16 TDs - the odds of having a Super Bowl parade in Detroit will increase.

5. Martin Mayhew -- There is no doubt that Mayhew is the NFL's best young general manager. He has played it smart in free agency and drafted extremely well during his tenure. Mayhew just needs one of the three cornerbacks he drafted this offseason to pan out, which would add to his brilliance. If Dwight Bentley, Chris Greenwood or Jonte Green can develop into a starter and make Detroit's secondary better, Mayhew deserves credit for building a championship team.

Véget ért a rookie mini camp.
Három embert emeltek ki külön:
1. Reiff aki mind LT és RT poszton helytállt. A Ronnel Lewis elleni egy-egy párharcokban dominált.
2. Patrick Edwards kapta a legnagyobb dícséretet, a WR edző külön gratulált neki. Állítólag nagyon meglepődtünk, hogy nem draftolta senki.
3. Greenwood volt a legjobb CB a gyakorlásokon. Magassága ellenére gyors és fordulékony, nagyon jók a kezei.

1. Ryan Broyles will not participate in the mini-camp.

Broyles was wearing shorts and a white hat out on the practice field Friday and will not participate in any drills this weekend, according to Schwartz.

“He’s not ready to do any of this stuff but he’s working very well,” Schwartz said. “He’s better than we saw him at his Pro Day and he’ll be better tomorrow than he is today.“

The real goal for Broyles is to be ready by training camp and by Week 1. When he does get on the field, though, expect him to fight for the punt return job. Schwartz had his punt return statistics from college at the ready when asked about Broyles after practice.

2. Bill Bentley is smooth.

Bentley, who signed a four-year contract about an hour before practice, looked very fluid in drills and had a terrific break on the ball. He’s not big (5-10, 182), but he plays fast to my untrained eye.

Smooth is probably the one word I would use to describe Bentley’s first practice with the Lions.

3. Fourth-round pick Ronnell Lewis is as physically gifted as advertised.

The former power-lifter has a terrific build and good straight-line speed.

During the team portion of practice, Lewis had one play where he blew right by the right tackle before he could get out of his stance. He shows good quickness and we know the strength is there.

The Lions view his immediate impact on special teams and Lewis was right there in the middle as a wedge buster on kickoff coverage in practice.

“The thing that he really brings to the table that we haven’t had here in awhile is special teams ability,” Schwartz said. “He gives us a little different dimension than we’ve had on special teams.”

4. Chris Greenwood looks like he belongs.
Greenwood looks like a safety, standing a helmet above most of the other cornerbacks. He moves like a corner, though.

Greenwood is an extremely gifted athlete and it didn’t take long to figure that out. He was paired up with Bentley for most of the drills and was right there with him in terms of agility and quickness.

Greenwood started opposite Bentley in the seven-on-seven drills and in the team portion of practice. Greenwood might be from small Division III Albion College, but he certainly looks like he belongs.

5. Patrick Edwards can run.

There was one wide receiver who was constantly getting behind cornerbacks in seven-on-seven and individual drills Friday and that was undrafted free agent Patrick Edwards out of Houston. He even victimized Bentley once.

Edwards ran in the high 4.4s in some workouts, but was clocked as high as 4.57 on his Pro Day. That's a reason he fell in the draft. He looked more like a 4.4 guy on Friday, showing good quickness and decent hands.
