Ketten jöttek, ketten mentek:
A tryoutosokból leigazoltuk a UConnos SS Jerome Juniort és az Ohio RB Beau Blankenshipet és kiraktuk a kicker Jeff Budzient és a punter Chad Zinchinit.

Lesz majd beszámoló a mai napról, de a legjobb hír ez itt: 6,214en voltak kint ma az edzésen. Ha minden igaz ennyien soha nem voltak kint ilyen eseményen még nálunk. És mindez egy 2-14es és egy 4-12es szezon után!



Remélem, hogy hamarosan megszűnnek "a Jagsnek nincsenek szurkolói" viccek!

Az 1. körös QBink (csakúgy mint az 1. körös WReink) nem voltak éppen sikeresek eddig. Remélem Blake megtöri végre ezt az átkot.

Mellesleg épp emlékeztetet valaki, hogy szegény Lee megkapta Reggie Williams és Szöszi mezszámát (11). 😕

During a segment on SiriusXM’s Mad Dog Sports Radio today, Arizona Cardinals general manager Steve Keim had high praise for Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles.

“In my opinion, there was one guy that we were focused on in the first round that we thought was a franchise quarterback,” Keim said.

Asked who that quarterback was, Keim said: “We liked Blake Bortles a lot … when you looked at his size, his athleticism, his ability to improvise. He doesn’t quite have the arm strength that Ben Roethlisberger had, but he has some of the same skill set with his foot speed and [the] athleticism to get out of the pocket and make plays with his feet as well as stand tall in the pocket and make some of the throws down the field.

“And he’s a guy, being a junior coming out, he still had some developing to do … but we think his upside is really big.”

The Jaguars drafted Bortles third overall last week. Arizona was rumored to be interested in a quarterback later in the first round, but the Cardinals waited until the fourth round to take Virginia Tech's Logan Thomas.

Közvetve minket is éríntő hír, hogy a Colts legjobb pass rusherét, Robert Mathist elmeszelte a liga 4 meccsre, így a 3. héten nem játszik ellenünk.

Matt Scott máris talált új csapatot, a Bengals claimelte.(lehet, hogy csak rólunk akarnak infót gyüjteni,de legalább van új csapata).

Rookie camp:
3an nem edzettek ma: Colvin (rehab), Marcel Jensen (ágyékhúzódása van, még 2-3 hétig nem áll sanszosan rendelkezésére), Lostonnak meg ma volt a diplomaosztója az LSUn, holnap már edz.
2,054en voltak kint, ami nagyon ímpresszív szám, tekintve, hogy péntek dél körül volt ez az edzés. Holnap még többen lesznek.
2 "veterán" is a rookiekkal tartott, DoM nagy kedvence, a C Stankiewitch és a WR Chad Bumphis, akit sokan sleepernek emlegettek, mikor leigazoltuk.
Telvin Smitht egyfolytában méltatta az egész stáb, volt hogy Babich 20 métert sprintelt, hogy megdicsérje egy nagy playe után! Úgy tűnik Hörinek igaza lesz, nagyon komoly playmakert hoztunk idén az 5. körben. És lehet nem csak egyet.
Bradley nagyon meg volt elégedve Chris Smith teljesítményével is, aki sok jelenlévő szerint egyáltalán nem úgy játszott, mintegy 6' 1" magas (posztjához képest alacsony) pass rusher.

Blake az elmúlt 3 napban napi 12 órát töltött az Everbank Fielden. Impesszív.

*RB Beau Blankenship had a 43-carry game for Ohio against Massachusetts and also set an Independence Bowl game record with four rushing touchdowns.
*OT Kyle Bryant started his career at Bowling Green (2009-11) and transferred to Youngstown State. He started parts of two years at left tackle for the Penguins.

Mondjuk WR poszton nincsenek nagy needjeink, szóval hacsak nincs nagy sérüléshullám a poszton, úgyis csak camp body lenne. Caldwell meghívása (mint veterán belső falember) számomra izgalmasabb. Rosszul emlékszem, vagy ő tényleg egész jó volt a Texansban? Mondjuk akkor érdekes, hogy miért nem tavaly volt csapata, miután a Bills kirakta a végső kerethirdetésnél.
