The Dolphins lost four starters to injury during Sunday’s 33-8 loss to Indianapolis, and at least three, if not all four, are expected to miss some time:
- Guard James Daniels likely will miss at least a couple of weeks with a pectoral injury but won’t miss the season, coach Mike McDaniel said Monday.
- Starting cornerback Storm Duck also is expected to miss “a couple” of weeks with an ankle injury, McDaniel said. Duck was carted off after playing 29 defensive snaps.
- Starting defensive tackle Benito Jones is week-to-week with an oblique injury, McDaniel said, stopping short of ruling him out for this week.
- McDaniel said the team is having doctors evaluate right tackle Austin Jackson, who left with a toe injury after sitting out several weeks of preseason and training camp with an injury to the same toe. The timetable for his return is undetermined, McDaniel said.

Szeretném azt gondolni, hogy valóban ilyen jo volt, hogy egy veterán kiszoritson. A tény, hogy nincs tapasztalata, s nem tudjuk mire is kepes, ellenben aggaszto. Nem gondolom, hogy bolcs lepes lehetett, ennyi produkciora ezt meglepni. Érkezett rasul dougles a bills-tol, aki szinten 2017-tol indította karrierjet, mint Hilton.
Jason Marshall ennyire bejött, hogy egy Mike Hiltont minimum fizun sem volt érdemes megtartani?The team added long-time veteran Mike Hilton early in training camp, but it seems as if Marshall Jr. has already surpassed him, as Hilton was cut on Monday.

It makes sense why.
Heading into college at the University of Florida, Marshall Jr. was a heavily touted, five-star prospect who seemed to have all the tools.
Marshall Jr. lived up to the hype for a few of those years, but was also inconsistent at times, and thus he fell into the later rounds of the draft.
It was not for a lack of athleticism, though.
Marshall Jr. ranked 11th out of all cornerbacks at the combine and also flashed his speed with a 4.49 40-yard dash and 1.55 10-yard split.
He has been noticed for his strong play in camp, especially Minkah Fitzpatrick, and that should be able to help him stay on the 53-man roster.
His play might even push Hilton off the roster.

Dolphins HC Mike McDaniel told reporters in Detroit that DT Zach Sieler and RB De'Von Achane are out "between days and weeks" but will be reassessed in Miami this week
Doesn't sound concerned that either player will miss the start of the regular season

Dolphins and their recently-acquired safety Minkah Fitzpatrick have agreed to a revised contract, adding a $16.245 million signing bonus to his deal. There had been no guaranteed money left on the contract, and no additional years were added. “We are comfortable with this commitment to Minkah as we continue to work with the Dolphins on a multi year extension,” said Drew Rosenhaus, Fitzpatrick’s agent.
