Randy Moss és Chad Pennington vezetésével első elsőosztályú évében pedig a konferenciát is megnyerte a MarshallA Marshall mióta FBS? És az Idaho mióta FCS?!Előbbi már régen, 1997-ben lett FBS csapat, utóbbi 2018 óta FCS

A Sun Beltben voltak utoljára az FBS-ben, de nem hosszabbított velük a konferencia a 4 éves kvázi próbaidő után és nem volt más ajánlat az FBS-ből. A Sun Belt elött voltak függetlenek is egy kis ideig. Gondolom úgy voltak vele, hogy akkor költségvetési szempontból gazdaságosabb nekik az FCS és a Big Sky. Bár most az egyik legígéretesebb FCS QB ugyebár náluk van Gevani McCoy személyében.Én nekik "drukkoltam", az ő ikonjukat tettem a nevem mellé, aztán egyszercsak eltűnt. 0-42 - Ennyi volt az FCS csapatok mérlege az FBS-es alakulatok ellen. Szégyen. A legszorosabb eredmények:
A Top 10-be rangsorolt csapatok közül majdnem mindenki nyert, csak a UIW kapott ki a a UTEP-től 28-14-re. A North Dakota State pl 35-10-re gyalulta le a szebb napokat látott Eastern Washingtont.
