The Cardinals-Broncos game featured an interesting matchup of starting quarterbacks: Kyle Orton against John Skelton. Orton attended Purdue, whose players have thrown more touchdown passes and accumulated more passing yards in the NFL than have players from any other college.

On the other hand, John Skelton, who was making his first NFL start, comes from Fordham. Last week, he became the first player from Fordham to throw a pass in the NFL since 1947, when Jim Blumenstock threw eight passes over a span of two games for the Giants. Átlagosan egy futásból az Eagles 5.6 yardot halad idén, és minden héten elérték a legalább 4 yardos átlagot cipelésenként. Ilyen szezonkezdetet a '70-es Cards csinált még, de ők 10 meccsig tartották csak a sorozatot, az Eagles még tartja.deny79

Nézelődtem. Volt három csapat (2006 Falcons, 2008 Broncos, 2002 Vikings), aminek összesen egy meccse volt amikor a 4.0-t nem érték el, szerintem egyelőre az nagyobb eredmény, persze nyilván ha az Eagles nem hibázik, akkor megdönthetetlen, 16 meccses rekordot érnek el.

5,6 fölöttire 1954 óta nem volt példa, legutóbb ugyancsak a 2006-os Vickes, Dunnos, Norwoodos Falcons csinált 5,47-es szezont.Döme
