Did you at all feel vindicated by making the roster after going undrafted?

Burfict: I will say not getting drafted just made me stronger. It made me work harder for everything, knowing that nothing was going to be just thrown at me, and I was going to have to go out there and get it. It made me the man who I am today; just pretty much a hard worker and just growing up. That process really helped me. I’m happy it happened then instead of now.

You had some contact with Bills linebacker Nick Barnett before the draft. How big of a help was he during this process?

Burfict: He just helped me with things to do on and off the field because he watched me in college and we have the same agent. He just called me one day and just told me that things that I did in college I can’t get away with in the NFL. I’ve just got to straighten up, pretty much. It helped me tremendously. I look up to him. He’s a great linebacker. He helped me on and off the field.

Ja, Dre-vel szívunk rendesen. Egyelőre úgyis csak szituációs CB lett volna, de a sérüléssel lelassul a beépítése. Mondjuk most legalább Allen és Jones visszatérőben.

Lewis says Dre Kirkpatrick (knee) will be rehabbing two more weeks or so before he practices again.
