Egyéb pletykák szerint a Jags fel akar majd tradelni az 1. kör végébe. Vajon egy RBért vagy egy pass rusherért?.... Ez újabb jó jel lenne a Williams/Cooper/White triónak. ... (Mondjuk egyéb pletykák szerit a Falcons meg feljönne 1/8ról 1/3ra egy pass rusherért...)

Ez a Caldwell egy zseni. Már a második draftja, és most sem tudják, hogy kit akar draftolni a lyukakkal telelévő Jaxbe, ahová legalább öt lehetséges célpont simán lehet, ha a legjobb játékosokat nézzük, annyira erős a class.

Pete Prisco egy tegnapi CBSes podcastban azt mondta, noha itt lakik, és ismer és rendszeresen beszél minden döntéshozóval, fingja sincs arról, Caldwell mire készül ma éjjel. Ő is azt mondta, hogy ha Leonard Williams még bent van, akkor talán ő lehet a pick az alapján, hogy a Jags (illetve maga Williams) kiszivárogtatta, hogy 3 techinique DTként számolunk vele elsősorban (ez Sen'Derrick Marks posztja nálunk). Tehát konkrétan megmondtunk neki, milyen szerepet szánnánk neki a Dben.

Nagyon meglepődnék, ha Cooper-t hoznánk, miután tavaly két második köröst lőttünk el elkapókra - ha minden más poszton elit csapat lennénk, akkor jó húzás lenne, de így kicsit meleg.

Én Beasley-től és Dupree-től is fázom egy kicsit az olvasottak és a videók után, mindkettőt a Harvey-Groves vonalra vizionálom.

Williams elég sure thingnek tűnik, neki örülnék a legjobban.

Én pont Fowlerben látom a Harvey 2.0-át (már csak a Florida miatt is). És Harvey sokkal sikeresebb volt collegeban...

Trade vagy a Brownsszal (=két első körös pickért és jönne abból mondjuk Gregory és Gurley, mindegy milyen sorrendben) vagy az Eaglesszel (Fletcher Coxért, Mychal Kendricksért és mondjuk 1-1 2 napi pickért idén és jövőre, meg persze az 1/20ért)

Mondjuk azt adom, hogy az 'imádjuk Amari Cooper' dolog inkább smokescreennek tűnik (mint pl. tavaly "Jaguars komolyan kacérkodik Manziellel" pletyka volt). Viszont az OT draftot is annak véltem '13ban, aztán tudjuk ki jött akkor....

1. EDGE rusher - The Jaguars had a lot of sacks last season, but they were dead last in bringing pressures. This is a case where the sacks didn't really tell the story of the Jaguars pass rush. Not only that, but the top three LEO edge rushers currently on the Jaguars roster are Chris Clemons (33 years old), Andre Branch (injury history, disappointing production, final year of contract) and Chris Smith (2014 5th round pick, barely played). This will be a position the Jaguars upgrade in the draft, the question is just where.

2. Linebacker - Outside of the starting three linebackers, the Jaguars group is pretty bare. LaRoy Reynolds at one point looked like one for the future, but his disastrous showing at the OTTO position last season makes his roster spot a question mark. Unfortunately the draft is dearth of linebackers beyond early in the second round.

3. Free Safety - While the Jaguars signed Sergio Brown in free agency, it's unlikely he's going to be the longterm answer. Like linebacker however, the draft is void of good safety prospects, especially of the center fielder variety, so it's unlikely this position is addressed permanently this draft.

4. Slot Receiver - The Jaguars wanted to add Randall Cobb in the offseason and general manager Dave Caldwell has specifically noted they'd like to upgrade the slot receiver position. I'd presume the Jaguars would like to find a receiver who fits in the slot who can also return kicks and punts, to kill two birds with one stone. The team used Allen Hurns a lot in the slot last year, but they'll likely be looking for a smaller, burner type of slot receiver in the mid-rounds.

5. Running Back - While I'm probably in the minority in thinking that Toby Gerhart and Denard Robinson can be an effective duo of backs, the position as a whole does need to add more talent. The draft this year is deep at the position though, so the team can add someone in the mid-rounds who could potentially challenge to start.

akkor a Raiders nem volt túl jó tárgyalási pozícióban, nagyon kellett a 2. kör, mert nem volt abban az évben, illetve a class teteje is gyengébb volt akkor, mint idén (Fisher, Joeckel 1-2, nuff said). szóval McKenzie szinte házalt az 1/3-mal, szerencsére(?) megtalálta Irelandet, aki belement. nem azt mondom, hogy kizárt most egy hasonló ellenértékű feltrade, de ennél általában többet kell adni véleményem szerint.
