Darien Porter

Described by head coach Matt Campbell as "most selfless, most incredible human" on Iowa State roster. Porter twice earned Academic All-Big 12 honors and graduated with a degree in public relations.

Donte Thornton Jr.

Thornton graduated with a degree in communication studies (Dec. 2024). Volunteers head coach Josh Heupel called him a "relentless worker".

Charles Grant

After he established himself as a starter at William & Mary, he received interest from several FBS programs, but Grant stayed loyal to the program and coaches who believed in him. He is a psychology major and was named to multiple CAA Commissioners Academic Honor Rolls. Voted a team captain senior season. (Brugler)

Caleb Rogers

Rogers earned second-team Academic All-Big 12 honors and graduated with a degree in university studies (Dec. 2023). Voted a senior captain and was on team's leadership council starting sophomore year (nickname in the program was "Captain Rogers") .

Tonka Hemingway

He was a four-time member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll and graduated with a degree in public health (Dec. 2023). Hemingway represented South Carolina on the NCAA's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) for three years (2022-24). Teammates and coaches give strong feedback on his work ethic.

JJ Pegues

A-plus character — received 2024 Chucky Mullins Courage Award (and changed to No. 38, Mullins' number), awarded to the Ole Miss defensive player who embodies Mullins' legacy of courage, leadership, perseverance and determination. Pegues made the honor roll in 2023 and graduated with a degree in multi-disciplinary studies (Dec. 2024). He was named a member of the 2024 AFCA Good Works team for his community service.

Tommy Mellott

2023 Doris Robinson Scholar-Athlete Award. Had a 4.0 GPA at Montana State while majoring in engineering. High character player on and off the field and gives back to the community.

Cam Miller

Member of the National Honor Society in high school. He twice won the MVFC Commissioner's Academic Excellence Award and graduated with a degree in marketing (May 2024). Voted a 2024 team captain.

Cody Lindenberg

Lindenberg earned Academic All-Big Ten honors four straight years (2021-24) and graduated with a degree in kinesiology (May 2024). He is currently pursuing his master's degree in sport and exercise science. (Brugler)

Lindenberg has been giving back to the Dylan Witschen Foundation that supports brain cancer research. It originated in 2010 when a high school player died of brain cancer.

Illetve olvastam (nem tudom mennyire igaz vagy csak pont így jött ki), hogy az első volunteer camp-n nem szokott részt venni. 2 éve is kihagyta és tavaly is igaz akkor sérült volt.

Persze még érkezik majd 1-2 játékos, meg keretzáráskor is lesz várhatóan majd némi mozgás, de a roster nagyja azért kialakult így a draft és UDFA kör után.

Na van developemental QB is már. Nem túl nagy, de legalább gyenge a karja és rosszul kezeli a nyomást 😉

Miller folyamatosan fejlődött és rakás szar gyenge QB-ból bajnokí címet nyerő vezér lett Fargoban. Mellottnak meg Touchdown Tommy a beceneve 3 éve. Mellesleg ő nyerte az FCS Heisman Walter Payton Award-ot tavaly.


Tessék lehet scoutolni mindkettőt egymás ellen az idei FCS nagydöntőben, ahol ők voltak a 2 kezdő QB. Ja és 2021-ben is döntőztek már egymás ellen, csak akkor még Miller dual QB systemben volt és tele remek RB-kkel megtámogatva, Mellott meg hamar megsérült.
