Az első félidő a kezdőkkel és a második sorral, elég jól nézett ki. A második félidő számomra elég érdektelen volt. Inkább szólt a practice squad v. relase kérdésről, mint valós roster helyekről.

Jól nézett ki Jonesék első támadása. Nem tudom lesz e több drive nekik de szép volt.

- No. 1 goal of offseason was: Get more explosive. Stop relying on 13-14 play drives ending in FG. Schematically = force opposing DBs to play further off ball
- Still dead money in 2024 from players they had to restructure just to get through 2022 (thanks Dave!)
- Name dropped Jason Pinnock. Mentioned twice he views him as a potential starter. Clear prospect they like a lot (one of my favorite breakout picks for 2023)

Hát az első preseason meccsünk nem a remek O fal munkáról szólt. 5 engedett sack és 11 TFL. Értem, h pre, meg nem a kezdők, de ez siralmasan rossz stat.

Sajnos a Depth elég ergya nálunk, kb minden szinten, kivéve talán a Dline, de ennyi. Ha beüt a sérülés valahol akkor kalap kabát. Peart borzadály volt, de Ezeudu/Bredeson páros is szenvedett. Ellenben JMS középen elég stabilnak tűnt.

We won’t be at anymore Giants practices so these are my takeaways after 11 sessions.

•I don’t know how you could make an argument for any WR but Darius Slayton leading the room in receiving. Had the most catches & downfield against Adoree’ and everyone else

•Darren Waller is awesome and it seems to have stepped Daniel Jones game as well as making life for other WR’s easier

•Daniel Jones is attacking all 3 levels of the field & spreading the ball around evenly. We know he’s a good QB. Excited to see how good he can be with a star TE, functional WR room, good coaching staff & hopefully some solid OL play. If the surrounding parts stay in tact, we should raise our bar for him after the contract. Don’t expect him to be top 5 but the standard should be top 10 after a $40M/year contract & year 2 with Daboll

•The IOL rotation is very weird but Ben Bredeson DESERVES to start somewhere

•It’s a shame we didn’t see Evan Neal v. Detroit but he is absolutely improved a good bit. There’s still be more to be had to live up to pick 7 but he’s raised the floor
•Andrew Thomas not being top 100 is a travesty

•The defense as a whole is worrisome. The 1st team defense had no interceptions in 11 days & the pressure wasn’t overwhelming without an exotic blitz. It doesn’t help that Daniel Jones looked much better v. them than they did Detroit

•Adoree’ Jackson & Xavier McKinney are proven good players but I just didn’t see those guys make plays at all

•Deonte Banks was garbage the first 5 practices but has improved and I’m intrigued to watch actual film of him. I do envision rookie struggles. Hoping for linear growth through the season.

•It’s a shame Cordale Flott hasn’t won the nickel CB job and I hope they can find a waiver vet to bring stability there

•Kayvon & Azeez didn’t wow which speaks to AT & hopefully Neal but there is ZERO pass rush depth

Free agent LB Anthony Barr told me he's currently targeting the #Giants for his next visit.

The sides are working on scheduling a firm date.

Additionally, Barr did pass his physical with the #Saints earlier, but added he'd like to visit more teams before making his decision.

DOES NOT MAKE SENSE: How New York Giants star left tackle Andrew Thomas was not on this years top-100 player list.

-Thomas was a 2nd Team All-Pro in 2022
-Signed a five-year, $117.5 million extension with the NYG this off-season
-Only had 2 penalties out of his 1,049 snaps 😳
-Only allowed 3 sacks all season, and 3 hits
-Received a 89.1 grade from PFF

I think this dynamic for the Giants passing offense can be good.

Darren Waller is the clear alpha & Saquon will get his checkdowns/some designed stuff.

Then after that it’s pretty spread out between Slayton, Campbell & Hodgins/Hyatt who have split time.

Bellinger has gotten RZ targets (3 of 6 catches were TD’s) & Beasley with his 3rd & short option routes. - per Bobby Skinner

Ebben az a legbiztatóbb, hogy így Holmes nincs a pályán. Katasztrófa az a pali, az 53-ban sem kéne ott lennie.

Már most van 50 millió jövőre a sapka alatt. Főleg úgy nagyon jó, hogy a legfontosabb elemekkel hosszabbítottunk, így jövőre jöhet legalább 2 kapásból kezdő, akár ProBowl/AllPro kaliber ember.

Figyelj Ozi mester, tudom te vagy a legnagyobb "megkérdőjelező", egyébként valamiért én is azt érzem, így előre, hogy gyengébb szezonunk lesz, de mellette azt is, hogy küzdeni fogunk mindenki ellen, és ha kell az utolsó labdán fog múlni. Nyílván nem fogunk ledominálni senkit, de az utolsó percig való küzdés, azt gondolom adott lesz nálunk.
