Q. Meyers, host of the Locked On Raiders podcast, received some information from trusted sources about how things used to run in training camps under Jon Gruden. On his Podcast, he implied quarterback Derek Carr’s confidence and fortitude were so easily shakeable that defenders were told not to pick him off in camp practice. Additionally, Carr lived in a red jersey, meaning he is off-limits; don’t touch.

“ Some who covered Garoppolo with the 49ers recalled today of a camp practice in which he threw five straight interceptions. Then went on to quarterback the 49ers to the Super Bowl that year.”

One of the loudest drumbeats out of training camp so far has been #Raiders CB Jakorian Bennett.
He had another INT during practice and it seems like the #Raiders have found another quality CB on Day 3 of the draft.

This is from Brad Weiss (I do not know who he is). Jakorian Bennett: Forget making the roster, Jakorian Bennett is so good that when all is said and done, he will be a starting cornerback for the Raiders as a rookie.
Chris Smith II: A steal of a Day 3 pick by the Raiders in the 2023 NFL Draft, Chris Smith II not only will make the roster, but could challenge for a starting job at some point during his rookie season.
Isaiah Pola-Mao: This is a kid who is turning heads in camp this year, and when all is said and done, could be a sleeper to crack the 53-man roster. I hope he is right. This kids size/speed ratio is off the charts. He will be a stud on ST and will get EARN some playing time.

Robert Spillane, Isaiah Pola-Mao, Trevon Moehrig, Jaydon Grant, and Jakorian Bennett all posted an interception today with two coming off Garoppolo Marcus Peters also dropped another pick
▫️Spillane and Pola-Mao came in 11s, both off Jimmy G
▫️Other three in 1s, off Hoyer/AOC

PROJECTED #Raiders starting offensive lineup through 7 training camp practices:
LT Kolton Miller
LG Dylan Parham
C Andre James
RG Alex Bars
RT Jermaine Eluemunor
TE Michael Mayer
WR1 Davante Adams
WR 2 Jakobi Meyers
Slot WR Hunter Renfrow
QB Jimmy Garoppolo
RB Zamir White

Amúgy a TOP100-as listára 3 Raider is felkerült idén.Ráadásul mindhárom TOP20!
Crosby #17
Adams #13
Jacobs #12
