Las Vegas Raiders

“Once they made my wife cry, that was pretty much over,” he said. “Once they made her cry, that was out. But the love for my teammates is what probably would have made me do it. But the way it worked out and the timing of things, I was just . . . it was time for me to move on. But who knows? You never know what will happen.”

NextGenStat:
Maxx Crosby generated 69 defensive stops aligned at EDGE in 2022, the most in a season since 2016.

Crosby set the single-season NGS era record for EDGE pressures in 2021 (82). He has aligned at EDGE on 1,850 snaps since 2021, 211 more than any other player.

Raiders seem likely to sign veteran cornerback Marcus Peters before training camp.

He caught the eye of cornerback Brandon Facyson. He admired how well he had competed while on the field against the defense.

“I think he’s doing a great job. He’s going against a good defense, and we’re going against a good offense. As he’s coming in learning, he’s a new quarterback, and I know it’s his first time being in the league. So, regardless of how good or how bad the day goes, it’s just something to look forward to the next day because he’s learning. So, I think he’s doing a fantastic job though.”
O’Connell coming in and picking up the offense at a fast pace is a good sign for his outlook as an NFL player. He might have his name called earlier than expected with the injury history of Garoppolo and the age of Brian Hoyer.

With players like cornerback Jakorian Bennett making headlines, the early returns from the draft class are positive. A rise in young talent who can perform is what this team needs to become a true contender in the future.

Szvsz Wentz=Jimmy, ami a nyeresi eselyeket illeti. Penzben is kabe ugyanott korul lehetne megeszerezni.
Nekem egyik kutya masik eb.

- Niel Farrell has slimmed down to roughly 315 and looks super quick of the line of scrimmage. Hes expected to start this year as lead NT though rookie Nesta Jade-Silvera will push for reps

-CB Nate Hobbs looks super explosive and fluid, he's a totally different player from last year. He's increased his lower body agility "significantly".

-Dylan Parham has added 12 pounds of muscle and spend most of the off-season training with Kolton Miller.

-Sam Webb has been a notable standout with multiple PBUs and a int.

-Michael Mayer hasn't dropped a pass yet and has made multiple catches outside his body

-Rookie DT Byron Young has been working with thw 1st team. He looks explosive and more powerful than the Raiders originally thought

#Raiders LB Divine Deablo, on wearing the green dot: I'm a lot more confident than I was last year.

(szerk: 234 LB-re felgyúrta magát Deablo)

"Jakorian Bennett has stood out early. The rookie cornerback took significant snaps lined up outside with the first-team defense Tuesday. He has average size at 5-foot-11, 195 pounds, but his athleticism, speed and ball skills have helped him be competitive in coverage throughout OTAs...

To be clear, the rotation at cornerback remains fluid. Duke Shelley was in the starting lineup the most often alongside Bennett at outside cornerback, but David Long Jr. and Amik Robertson also got time with the starters. And while Nate Hobbs led the way at nickelback, Tyler Hall also logged notable snaps with the starters...
--

"As it stands, the picture is pretty clear at safety. Marcus Epps is a surefire starter at strong safety and Tre’von Moehrig has taken the vast majority of the snaps as the starting free safety."

Drake Thomas is making a strong first impression on Josh McDaniels

The UDFA is standing out early in minicamp

Duke Shelley hatalmas igazolás lehet

Levi Edwards@theleviedwards
A few standouts in my eyes from Day 2 of #Raiders minicamp:

- Marcus Epps
- Duke Shelley
- Nate Hobbs
- Ameer Abdullah
- Phillip Dorsett

The defense looked solid in my opinion. Played with great energy with a lot of communication.

-Besides rookie Jakorian Bennett, Tyler Hall also has been getting first-team reps at cornerback at practice. If he emerges as the main slot corner, that could push Nate Hobbs outside. Hall signed with the team last October after being released by the Rams.

-The Raiders have so many new receivers this offseason, you really do need a roster to watch minicamp. Some guy named Chris Lacy caught everything thrown his way at Tuesday’s practice, while veteran Phillip Dorsett made a one-handed deep grab. Then on Wednesday, Cam Sims — who spent the past five seasons with the Commanders — was blocking out defensive players and snagging passes.

-At the end of last season, the plan was for Parham to move from left guard to center. But that has been tabled for another season as Andre James returns at center and Parham is back at guard. Parham will continue to look for practice reps at center.

Garoppolo, who underwent foot surgery this offseason, is expected to be ready long before the start of training camp, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday on Inside Minicamps on NFL+.

egy kis nosztalgia. a 2009-es offseasonben a leendő JMR - DHB connection tartotta lázban a Raiders fanokat... (1 TD lett ebből végül)
