Tampering charges have been filed against the Detroit Lions by the Kansas City Chiefs but the exact nature of the charges have not been disclosed, sources told FOXSports.com's Alex Marvez and Adam Caplan. The Lions could be fined, lose at least one draft pick or a combination of both if found guilty.

Majd szeptemberben tavaly trade-lték Atlantába, 8 meccsen 7 tackle és egy 61 yardos interception return TD. Márciusban küldték el, Titans szedte fel, de a pre-season alatt elküldte. The Detroit Lions are not planning to sign another quarterback even though QBs Matthew Stafford (shoulder) and QB Shaun Hill (finger) are injured, reports Dave Birkett, of the Detroit Free Press. The Lions also are not planning on putting Stafford or Hill on Injured Reserve at this time.

Rob Rang, of NFLDraftScout/CBS Sports says Andrew Luck is the best prospect he's EVER scouted after the Oregon State game:

"Luck is more than just the best quarterback -- or best player -- potentially available for the 2011 draft, however.

He's the best quarterback AND elite prospect -- including LaDainian Tomlinson, Steve Hutchinson, Calvin Johnson, Ndamukong Suh -- I've scouted, including every Senior Bowl since 2001."

The Detroit Lions worked out free-agent QBs Josh McCown (Panthers) and J.T. O'Sullivan (Chargers) Monday, Nov. 29, reports Dave Birkett, of the Detroit Free Press. Detroit Lions QB Shaun Hill (finger) is potentially out for the season, and there is no clear timetable for a return by QB Matthew Stafford (shoulder).

Detroit Lions QB Shaun Hill (finger) might miss the remainder of the season, reports Dave Birkett, of the Detroit Free Press. A person familiar with the situation said Tuesday, Nov. 30, that Hill broke the index finger on his throwing hand in the first half of the Week 12 game against the New England Patriots, Thursday, Nov. 25. QB Drew Stanton took first-team reps in practice Tuesday and is expected to make his second career start in Week 13 against the Chicago Bears.

Detroit Lions QB Shaun Hill (forearm), who was playing with a broken left forearm Thursday, Nov. 25, said a New England Patriots defender tried to break his arm on a quarterback sneak play, MLive.com's Philip Zaroo reports. "That's why I eventually gave up the ball," Hill said. "Somebody was down there (in the pile) literally trying to break my arm, which is already broken. Literally, trying. And, uh, you know, I guess wasn't seen (by officials)."
