Úgyis az OL lesz a kulcs az offense oldalon. Remélem azért megtaláljuk a legjobb ötöst és nem arra megy el a szezon eleje, hogy keresgélünk. A passzjáték Carr-al biztos erősebb lesz, de Carr-nak kell egy kurva jó teljesítmény idén, ha maradni akar hosszabb távon.

James javulásának azért örülök, év végén is már egy harmatnyival jobb volt mint szezon elején, hátha stabilizálódna. De sajnos RT nélkül piszkos nehéz lesz ez az év.

megnéztem én is, szerintem sem volt olyan jó az OL sajnos. Brandon Parker LT-ként csőd, bár ez nem meglepő, RT volt a posztja eddig. Lester Cotton passzblokkolásban nem az igazi, stuntot benézte. Leatherwood meg szinte végig segítséget kapott, úgy nem volt gond, de amikor egyedül kellett megoldania akkor már látható volt hogy megy... talán Andre James tűnt jobbnak, de nem elit DT-k ellen azért.

Stidham játéka jó volt, nálam ő a QB2. reméljük Carr is jobban teljesít majd ebben a rendszerben az új fegyverekkel.

a runblock sokat javult, passprotban kell fejlődni.

A Jacobs-Zeus páros nagyon oda fog baszni.

James és Zeus kifejezetten tetszett, Parker viszont elég gyenge volt, remélem ez nem marad így.

POSITIVES

- McDaniels era off to a great start. Execution was very good across all three phases. 1 penalty in the 1st half. We got off the ball. We executed and it wasn't vanilla bullshit. He tested them with formations, end arounds, play action deep shots, empty sets, inside/outside zone, power concepts, screens... GOOD SHIT. Redzone and third downs also strong.

- Patrick Graham! Again, so much for preseason vanilla -- he was showing multiple fronts, press man, variety of zones, sent nickel blitz, safety blitz, lots of LB blitzes. Was rushing 4-5 every time and getting good pressure despite little to no inside penetration! Defense executed.

- Stidham... competent performance from him. Looks like a capable #2.

- Run blocking / screen game. OL's did well opening up holes and looked really good blocking in space with patience and pop.

- RB's... Jacobs looks fresh as you'd expect. ZEUS looked good too, not just running with power but also catching the ball. There's some depth in that room. Abdullah, Bolden, Zeus, Drake -- I think we may keep 5 RB's and a FB, which is nuts.

- Daniel Carlson in midseason form.

- Andre James, Simpson... no issues... Cotton flashed mostly good (missed the stunt that led to a sack)... Parham looked good and played LG, C, and RG. Love that. Jermaine Eluemunor was highly impressive at LT too. I think he's our best backup LT option if Kolton has any issues. Leatherwood wasn't bad at RT. He didn't have any penalties which is progress... he had help but also held his own with some really nice reps.

- Koonce had some nice snaps. We need him to contribute this year as part of the rotation and he seems capable of doing so. Kendall Vickers was the lone bright spot at DT for me. Bryce Cosby flashed in the nickel, with Hobbs possibly playing more snaps outside we'll need Amik (?!) or someone like Bryce to step up.

- NO INJURIES :praying:

- Depth at WR off to a good start.

NEGATIVES:

- Brandon Parker is not a LT. Absolutely woeful performance. Am disappointed we didn't see more of him at RT. That HAS TO BE A PRIORITY in next preseason game against the Vikings, SURELY?! If he's not the answer at RT, we need to know that right now. He sure as fuck is not serviceable at LT.

- Kenyan Drake... Not really sure where he's going to fit within this RB room... They might be easing him back from injury, but he seemed to be behind Abdullah and Zeus this evening. Bolden is also expected to push for a roster spot as a special teams captain / reliable scheme vet. This RB situation will be one of the first big tests for Ziegler/McDaniels.

- Interior DL looks lackluster, certainly without Hankins/Bilal... will they be enough?

Renfrow, Carr, Adams és Mack Hollins a Top Golf nevű helyre mentek. Renfrow rendelt ehhez egy Ubert, ami egy nem túl tágas Hyundai volt. ráadásul ő ült előre, a három magas csapattársa pedig hátra 😀

Ugye első pillanattól kezdve 3-4/4-3 hybrid rendszerről beszélt Graham. Úgy fest most 4-3 a base, de ebben azért lehet még sztem változás, ha majd Big Hank harcra kész újra...
Meg az is lehet, hogy ez a base, mert ebből könnyebb 1 játékos cserével a fő nickel csomagra átállni.
Majd a meccseken meglátjuk miből mennyit használunk...

DT lesz a nagy probléma

The main story from yesterday was the movement of the offensive line with Leatherwood receiving reps with the third team. Today was a bounce-back day for Leatherwood, where he was back to rotating with Brandon Parker during team sessions.

He had winning reps during one-on-ones in a drill designed for offensive linemen to fail. Dylan Parham and Andre James shined during these drills, adding optimism for the interior of the offensive line. Overall, it was a good day with good work in the run game and pass protection in team drills.

Defensive tackle depth could be an issue.

With injuries to Bilal Nichols and Jonathan Hankins, the defensive tackle position's depth is a concern. During practice, Kendall Vickers, Andrew Billings, and Kyle Peko saw most of the action. They were pushed around inside against the run and didn't put much pressure on the quarterbacks from the interior.

Rookies Neil Farrel Jr. and Matthew Butler continue to work behind that group while settling into NFL action. Butler shined during one-on-one sessions where we saw his ability as a pass rusher, beating guards with his upfield burst and quickness.
