Azt a feltételezést (?) sikerült megint előásni a vasárnapi eset kapcsán, hogy a Super Bowlon a fáradságtól McNabb kidobta a taccsot.

A backup QB egyébként Koy Detmer volt. Nem hiszem, hogy jobban jártunk volna, ha ő áll be.Szabler

Sajna az már úgyis eléggé veszett fejsze volt, miután a Pats el tudott menni 10 ponttal nem sokkal a vége előtt. Igaz, hogy végül egy Fg-ra voltunk a egyenlítéstől, de ha jól emlékszem a saját endzone-unk elől kellett indulnunk és kevesebb mint 1 perc volt hátra. Persze még 1st downt sem sikerült szerezni és int lett a vége, igazi szorult helyzetben megszokott Eagles-drive volt 😕BleedingGreen

Igen. A sikertelen onside kick és az időkérések elhasználása után a Pats puntja a saját 4-esünkhöz szegezett. Ekkor már csak 46 mp maradt, időkérés nuku. Westi 1st downnál elkapja a labdát 0 yardért, ahelyett, hogy kiejtené, az óra pörög, 2nd downnál incomplete passz TO-nak, 3rd downnál interception.

Ez most már a Skins baja, de talán nekünk is érdemes elolvasnunk miként reagált Freddie Mitchell (OMG!!!) McNabb múlt vasárnapi lecserélésére. Szerinte ezt a Pats elleni Super Bowlban Reidnek is meg kellett volna lépnie.

We've now got one head coach and two former wide receivers who have shared a huddle with McNabb, all claiming that he gets fatigued at the end of games.

That doesn't make it true, but where there's smoke -- even if that smoke is coming from a smelly, broken-down, disreputable source -- maybe there's some fire. All of those guys have seen Donovan McNabb(notes) up close, in huddles, in practice and in late-game situations. I have not."Szabler

Inkább arról nyilatkozzon, hogy miért pofázott össze-vissza a SB előtt még jobban feltüzelve ezzel az amúgy sem rossz ellenfelet. Jó nagy bust volt. Kis túlzással miatta nem draftoltunk évekig magasan skill playereket az offense-ba, hanem hoztuk a Billy McMulleneket, meg Moats-okat.
