Csatlakozom Surda!

"Once A Raider, Always A Raider"
DC köszönöm a 9 évet!

"Raider Nation, it breaks my heart I didn’t get an opportunity to say goodbye in person. We certainly have been on a roller coaster in our 9 years together. From the bottom of my heart, I am so grateful and appreciative of the years of support you gave my family and me. We had our share of both heart-breaking moments and thrilling winning drives, and it always felt like you were there next to me.

It's especially hard to say “goodbye” because I can honestly say that I gave you everything I had, every single day, in season, and in the off season. It was not perfect, but I hope that I was able to leave you with more than a few great memories as Raiders fans.

Thank you to the city of Oakland for taking us in. Thank you to the city of Las Vegas for allowing us to proudly call you home. Thank you to the organization, my teammates, all my coaches, staff, and everyone that helped me these last 9 years in those 2 buildings. Thank you to all Raider Nation that supported, encouraged, pushed, and uplifted me at different times along this journey.

To ALL the members of DC4KIDS Touchdown Challenge, I was overwhelmed by the amount of support, notes, letters, and donations that were made on my behalf to Valley Children's Healthcare Foundation. Raider Nation you are truly special.

I once said that if I am not a Raider, I would rather be at home and I meant that, but I never envisioned it ending this way. That fire burning inside me to win a championship still rages inside me. A fire no man can extinguish, only God. So, I look forward to a new city and a new team who, no matter the circumstances, will get everything I have. Winning a championship is what I have always wanted and what I will continue to work towards.

God Bless you all and with love,
DC4 🖤🤍"

Here are some excerpts from an article by Vic posted in The Athletic today.

Josh Jacobs:

Running back Josh Jacobs even said that McDaniels was better with the X’s and O’s than Mr. QB Camp himself, former coach Jon Gruden.

“Obviously Gruden is a great football mind, but these guys just take it to another level,” Jacobs said. “Just when it comes to the way they explain things and the way they utilize certain guys. Just learning their playbook and their terminology and then taking it and putting my own little spin on it, it’s definitely been fun.”
Maxx Crosby
Defensive end Maxx Crosby was one of the loudest advocates to retain interim coach Rich Bisaccia a year ago, but owner Mark Davis went a different direction and brought in the Patriots-trained regime of general manager Dave Ziegler and McDaniels.

And Crosby said Monday that he loves McDaniels.

“Josh has been awesome,” Crosby said. “Ever since he got here, he’s been straightforward with me. We have a great relationship, and he just has got a certain way he wants things done. … Hard work is the No. 1 thing. We needed everyone on that same page.

“They came in in February and they had to build a whole roster from scratch, and it’s not easy. And so I give them a ton of credit, just from a work-ethic standpoint. These guys are in the building literally 24/7, and they are doing everything to put us in a position to win. … We definitely have the right coaches.”
Nate Hobbs
McDaniels said he has appreciated how hard the players have worked all season, and defensive back Nate Hobbs said the players respect how hard McDaniels and his staff push them.

“He was very by the book,” Hobbs said. “You need coaches like that, who no matter what day it is and no matter who is hurt and who is not, they are going to be on it. Because there is power in consistency. There is power in routine. You stick to a routine, no matter if you want to do it or not that day, because it makes you better.

“The schedule that he keeps us on gives us a great chance to win.”
Maxx again (and I imagine he, and Hobbs, were explaining what we know as "The Patriot Way").
“I like the way he implements hard work,” Crosby said. “When it comes to training and working after practice, he is all about that. That’s something I truly respect and appreciate. I don’t just train to check a box. After everything I do, there is always something extra on top of it, and he’s like that. He wants a bunch of guys that have the same mindset — ‘Let’s go, let’s get better.’ And that’s the thing I love about him.

“And obviously he is a great coach. He knows the game of football very well, and I have ton of love and respect for him and I’m looking forward to continuing my career with him.”
Patience.

So when DC was crying that he worked harder than everyone and he couldn't sleep, and.. and... and... I think McD was holding him accountable and that was not comfortable. By benching him, McD was certainly saying to everyone on the team, "it's a meritocracy, even for QB1." I think the team appreciated that it's not about favorites--it's about who performs on the job at or above the standard.

Sources: The #Raiders will begin the process of evaluating the trade market for QB Derek Carr, as they prepare for a decision on their QB for the future. This points to the possibility of Carr, who holds a no-trade clause and will be part of the process, leaving the organization.

FYI: Barring any assistant coaches leaving for promotions, no significant changes expected on @Raiders coaching staff. For the first time since end of 2019 season, Raiders defense on target to go into a second straight season with the same defensive coordinator

Pola-Mao-ban én látok fantáziát SS back up posztra, Teamer szerintem felejtős, max mint ST ember lehet érdemes tartani.

FA lista egyenlőre a fentiekhez igazodva:
IDL: Daron Payne, Dalvin Tomlinson, Dre'Mont Jones, Zach Allen, Sheldon Rankins
LB: Germaine Pratt, Lavonte David, David Long, TJ Edwards, Bobby Okereke
CB: Jamel Dean, Sean Murphy-Bunting, James Bradberry
S: Jessie Bates III, Jordan Poyer, Chauncey Gardner-Johnson, Von Bell

Here is how I have them ranked as of today:

80% Tom Brady
10% Mac Jones
9% Jimmy Garoppolo
1% Aaron Rodgers

"Mark now wants to make a statement. Right or wrong, his dad wanted to make statements and wasn't against big name guys at the end of their career. Some worked out, and some didn't, bit there is a reason Brady is called the GOAT."

One thing that nearly every person I spoke with in and outside the Raiders keeps referencing is this. "It is no secret the Raiders want Tom. But, does Tom want the Raiders? I think that is the bigger questions. Josh and Dave know how Brady thinks, so when they finally talk to him, they will lay out a plan."
I will say this. If Tom Brady wants to be a Raider, the odds are 100%.
Tom Brady selected Tampa Bay for many reasons, but two big ones; the two biggest non-football reasons were climate and a grass field. Both of those the Raiders have, and not the New Orleans Saints.

One NFL executive told me, "Josh love Mac, and Mac love Josh. Call it a father son type relationship, I call it more of brothers, but there is no secret they are fond of each other. Both had a shi**y 2022 season apart from one another, and both had super 2021s. Don't see the Raiders overpaying, but perhaps a high pick in another NFL Draft, or something later this year, but I could see that."

The Latest on the State of the Las Vegas Raiders
With the electricity that this offseason is sure to have around the Las Vegas Raiders, we bring you the latest information on what is happening.
HONDO S. CARPENTER, SR.6 HOURS AGO
In this story:

Las Vegas Raiders
LAS VEGAS RAIDERS
HENDERSON, Nev.-The Las Vegas Raiders are a team in transition, and I have the latest on your beloved Silver and Black for you.

· I previously reported my second set of odds at who will be the starting QB for the Las Vegas Raiders as follows:

55% Tom Brady
30% Jimmy Garoppolo
10% Aaron Rodgers
5% Mac Jones
· Here is how I have them ranked as of today:

80% Tom Brady
10% Mac Jones
9% Jimmy Garoppolo
1% Aaron Rodgers
On the subject of Tom Brady, one NFL executive told me, "Mark (Davis) isn't his dad, but don't think he doesn't have some of his father's attributes. Al loved to make a splash, to win the news conference, to get the conversation, Mark wants that."
According to that executive, "Mark was on love with Tom Brady before, but Gruden wanted Derek Carr. Mark was always had great respect for Derek Carr the man, but was not a big fan of his play. So when Josh McDaniels and Dave Ziegler saw Carr as a positive reason to come to the Raiders he was fine with it."
He added, "Mark now wants to make a statement. Right or wrong, his dad wanted to make statements and wasn't against big name guys at the end of their career. Some worked out, and some didn't, bit there is a reason Brady is called the GOAT."
For this article, one NFC GM told me, "I know that Dave Ziegler and Josh McDaniels like and respect Tom Brady. But the addition of Tom Brady buys them something no other QB option does. They have to win in 2023 to be back in 2024, and they can look at Mark Davis if Brady fails and tell him that he was the QB he wanted."
He added, "A Tom Brady signing almost assuredly tells you they are back in 2024."
The odds for Jimmy Garoppolo have plummeted. I have now heard from three people that Jimmy G. will proceed to the Jets. One NFL Scout told me, "Jimmy has the relationships with the people at the Jets, and his style fits their MO of don't make mistakes, run the ball, and play great defense. That might be the most expected thing in the NFL.”
Multiple NFL people have expressed nearly the same observation as me regarding Derek Carr and Jimmy Garoppolo. One assistant GM said, "They are close to being the same guy. Derek fell off in a big way this year, but no one takes into account the offense. I know if Derek Carr couldn't run the Raiders offense the way Josh wanted, neither will a constantly injured Jimmy."
Mac Jones remains a viable option, but would the New England Patriots trade him away?
The Raiders hope to get something for Derek Carr (I'll address that later), but even if they don't, they have plenty of cap and a Tom Brady signing comes with no loss of NFL Draft resources.
They added, "Bill Belichick competes at everything. Not sure he would want to help Josh with a good deal for Mac, but you never know, it is for sure real."
One name that is out there but is dwindling the more I talk with people in the know is Aaron Rodgers.
One organization member told me, "Aaron would come at a huge cost, both in salary ($50 million) and trade resources, and the price you pay for organizational culture."
