The O-line blocked well during Detroit's first practice in full pads. The line dominated a red-zone run drill, opening several holes for scores. The performance deserves accolades because of the OT-by-committee situation injuries have created. The line's performance hasn't suffered despite constant personnel change.

It's a recurring theme during early workouts, but the daily highlight show that QB Matthew Stafford and WR Calvin Johnson create demands respect. The connection between the two is undeniable. It's clear Stafford now understands exactly what he needs to deliver for Johnson to shine.

CB Aaron Berry made several nice breakups during coverage drills Tuesday while taking reps against first-team receivers. Berry knows he's facing a fight for playing time this season. He's using the available exposure before veteran free agents report to make his case to be in the CB discussion

TEs Brandon Pettigrew, Will Heller and Tony Scheffler are quietly having a nice start to camp. Scheffler and Heller's injuries appear to be behind them, and all three have moved very well in passing drills. Like the WRs, Detroit's TEs are clearly on the same page with QB Matthew Stafford, making them viable receiving threats.

Coleman had two interceptions today, both off of tipped passes by cornerbacks. There have not been a lot of interceptions so far in this camp. We'll see if that continues when Eric Wright and Chris Houston begin practicing in a few days.

Lions DT Nick Fairley injured his foot in practice Monday, x-rays came back negative per NFL.com.

The Lions have sold 11,200 new full-package season tickets since the end of last season. The sales are for all 10 home games: two exhibitions and eight in the regular season.

"We’re No. 2 in the league," said Bob Raymond, the Lions’ vice president of business operations.

The Lions only added 4,100 new season ticket holders during all of last year's offseason. By comparison, they have already sold 1,100 new season tickets since the lockout ended last week. That's quite amazing, and I would anticipate the strong sales to continue after the impressive moves the Lions made last week.

Az meg,hogy Best vagy LaShoure legyen e a kezdő nagyon kellemes probléma. Szerintem 50-50%ban lesznek fenn. Bár talán MoMo is kap némi carryt. Bár nem lennék meglepve ha a cap miatt Brown maradna a 3.számú RB.Bazzani

Jets front7jét egyáltalán nem tartom erősnek. Van egy jó ILBjük és kész. Nincs OLB, elmegy Shaun Ellis, így nem lesz domináns DE se, inkább ott a sec erős.

Tulloch is a very solid inside linebacker in run (+10.5) and pass (+8.3) coverage, but his overall ranking (+13.6) was dragged down somewhat by his poor blitzing (-1.3) and his propensity for taking bad penalties (-3.9). That said, his blitzing ability shouldn’t be much of a factor in Detroit, where the fast-improving front four (including Suh and Fairley) should do a fantastic job of getting to the quarterback. As a result, Schwartz will have the luxury of playing to Tulloch’s strengths, setting him up for what should be a very strong 2011 season.tenorx
