The Chargers had a chance to tie late but couldn’t score after getting first-and-goal at the 4-yard line in the final 75 seconds.

At Seahawks 27, Chargers 20: The Chargers allowed not one but two kickoff returns for touchdowns by Leon Washington. They also committed five turnovers.

At Raiders 35, Chargers 27: Mike Scifres’ first two punts were blocked, leading to nine Oakland points, and Mike Tolbert fumbled on first-and-goal at the 1. Still, the Chargers were in position to kick a potential winning field goal before a holding penalty against Antonio Gates and a sack-fumble that was returned for a TD.

At Rams 20, Chargers 17: The one game where it can be argued the Chargers just got beat, although a dropped pass by Gates didn’t help, nor did a fourth-quarter holding penalty against Randy McMichael with the Chargers driving for a possible tying TD.

Patriots 23, at Chargers 20: Turnovers on FOUR consecutive first-half possessions contributed to a 13-3 halftime deficit. A rally fell short when a last-minute field goal from 50 yards hit the upright.

Raiders 28, at Chargers 13: Though the Raiders eventually pounded the Chargers, they benefited from two San Diego turnovers that led to an early 14-0 lead.

At Bengals 34, Chargers 20: A botched handoff on the first play wasn’t a turnover but led to a Bengals TD and another early deficit. An interception led to one Bengals TD in the fourth quarter and an unprepared defense produced a final, clinching TD with 6:25 left.

Na, ennyi volt idénre. De végülis nem hinném, hogy élesben a Raiders elverné a Chiefst. Tudja mindenki, hol ment el a vonat, nem részletezem. Jövőre össze kell szedni minden pénzt, lekötni VJ-t, valahogy kimákolni a sérüléseket, fejben egyberakni a csapatot, mert nagyon sok van ebben a keretben, amit a statisztika is mutat. Kivéve egy statot, 8-7. Jövőhéten Tebow-magic, aztán pihi.

“All (Sunday) did for me was make me more aggravated about those games we lost early,” Rivers said. “I wasn’t mad at the Rams, I wasn’t mad at the Steelers, like, ‘What are ya’ll doing?’ I was thinking about the games we didn’t win.”
