Washington Football Team’s Troy Apke and Samis Reyes are now on the Reserve/COVID-19 List

That’s now 18 TOTAL Washington Football players that are in COVID protocols.

Starter Taylor Heinicke remains lined up to be the starter thus week against the Philadelphia Eagles, but he's battered and bruised (including his knee) from the 27-20 loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, a game he was forced to exit for a time, thus giving way to the backup Allen.

Kyle Shurmur is in the building as he is on the practice squad. And now the Football Tram has signed QB Jordan Ta'amu to the practice squad, per his agent.

Further testing revealed that WFT TE Logan Thomas does in fact have a torn ACL as the team initially feared, per source. Thomas is expected to undergo surgery this week and return in time for the 2022 season.

For the 30th consecutive year, Washington won't win 11 regular season games. Every other NFL franchise has done it at least once in that time. Every other franchise but Detroit has done it multiple times.
