Mike Goodson chose the Jets over the Bengals as a free agent because of the fit, he said, and a large part of that was Gang Green’s new offense. Goodson, the team’s new running back, addressed the media for the first time as a Jet on a conference call Wednesday and said he felt that offensive coordinator Marty Morhinweg’s West Coast offense would suit him well.

“I definitely think it highlights some things that I do in my game, catching the ball out of the backfield, being able to isolate some linebackers, run some routes and also run the ball between the tackles, so I think it’s going to be good,” Goodson said.

“I like the offensive coordinator,” he added. “I think he’s going to be able to do some big things, I can’t wait to run and play in his offense.”

A source tells ESPN New York that the Jets still plan to release Tim Tebow if they can't trade him.
Coach Rex Ryan and owner Woody Johnson have insisted Tebow remains part of the Jets' 2013 plans. They're just trying to create leverage. They're fully expected to set Tebow free once they realize no one will trade for him. He's not part of the quarterback competition between offseason No. 1 Mark Sanchez and David Garrard.

Folk, Purdum és Hilliard pénzéről nem láttam semmi infót, míg Goodson esetében az idei garantált fizuja 1M és 1M-es roster bonust is kap.

Ennél sokkal frissebbet én nem láttam, de ebben az újak közül csak Garrard van benne. Ehhez jön Colon 1,2 milliója, Goodson 6,9 milliójának az idei évre eső része, amiről szerintem nincs még pontos info, Garay és Barnes szintén ismeretlen összege, valamint Folk, Purdum és Hilliard pénze, akik hosszabbítottak, de nem tudni még, hogy pontosan mennyiért.
Óvatos tippem szerint úgy 7-8 millió körül lehet most a cap space, de ezért nem vállalok felelősséget 😀
