Bucs GM Mark Dominik expects troubled CB Aqib Talib to participate in training camp and play for the team in 2011.
The St. Petersburg Times reported early in the offseason that Talib would be released, but that was never particularly credible. Talent remains the trump card, and Talib has been the Bucs' top difference-marker on defense. Though Talib's felony assault with a deadly weapon trial won't take place until at least March, he remains a candidate for NFL suspension. Regardless, Dominik hinted Tuesday that he will not be pursuing Nnamdi Asomugha.

Ebből se lesz semmi...Jason LaCanfora of the NFL Network is reporting via Twitter that the Vikings and Redskins “Vikes and Skins have parameters of a deal” for Washington quarterback Donovan McNabb. LaCanfora also says that “agreeing on financial terms with him could be tricky.”BigAl:
The sticking point seems to be McNabb’s contract, which calls for him to get a $10 million bonus if he is on the roster the day after the regular season starts. The Vikings do not want to pay that and it is likely that no other team will.
McNabb could restructure the deal. It is possible that he could refuse to do so and essentially block a trade in order to get his release and be free to sign a new contract. However, if the Redskins hold on to him until sometime in September, his value will be severely diminished.
Adam Schefter of ESPN reported earlier that the Vikings are “one of a few teams” that have had trade discussions with the Redskins concerning acquiring McNabb.
Many Redskins fans have been hoping that the team would release Albert Haynesworth the very moment that the NFL opened for business after the lockout. Well, 10:01 a.m. came and went and Albert was still employed by the Washington Redskins.
Haynesworth is not there because the Redskins particularly want him to be. Last year’s ugliness revolving around the $100 million man is still a topic of discussion and Mike Shanahan does not want to risk it happening again.
