The #Raiders are signing Pro Bowl WR Hunter Renfrow to a two-year, $32 million extension including $21M guaranteed

During O-line vs. D-line drills, Kendal Vickers and Clelin Ferrell lined up as defensive tackles in between Chandler Jones and Maxx Crosby. Ferrell has also been observed working as an outside linebacker and defensive end, so it seems the staff plans to use him in multiple roles.

When everyone has been available, the starting O-line has consisted of Kolton Miller at left tackle, John Simpson at left guard, Andre James at center, Lester Cotton Sr. at right guard and Leatherwood at right tackle. I would expect Good to replace Cotton at right guard once he’s recovered from the torn ACL that he suffered in Week 1 last season. If the starting five winds up being Miller, Simpson, James, Good and Leatherwood, then it would be the same unit the Raiders used entering the 2021 campaign. Because Good got hurt in the first game, we didn’t really get much of a look at what the group was capable of.

The backup O-line has been made up of Jackson Barton at left tackle, Dylan Parham at left guard, Hroniss Grasu at center, Jermaine Eluemunor at right guard and Parker at right tackle. When the third-team OL comes in, Parham has shifted over to center and taken snaps.

FYI: @Raiders offensive line today. No Andre James, so Hroniss Grasu got a majority of first-team OL snaps at center. Dylan Parham also played some center. Alex Leatherwood majority of RT snaps, alongside Lester Cotton at RG. John Simpson (LG) Kolton Miller (LT) rounded it out.

Other notes: A clean, crisp practice for @Raiders. Run game-segment was physical. Feels like Raiders want to be intentional in the run game. Derek Carr (and Jarret Stidham) with some really nicely thrown balls in 11-on-11.
