Remains to be seen what role Tevin Reese can earn, but he can run. Sped past Crezdon Butler. 60-yard TD from Kellen Clemens in team drill.

DL Corey Liuget tweaked his right ankle again in 1-on-1 pass-rush drills and is having the ankle re-taped.

Brandon Flowers, Marcus Cromartie, Vincent Brown and Jeromey Clary not practicing for #Chargers today.

For second straight day, Chargers mirror O-line. Left tackles and guards on right side.

Vincent Brown continues his rehab. At one-week mark of missed practice. Sidelined since straining calf last Friday in warmups.

Chargers CB Brandon Flowers not practicing. Likely rest day for veteran. More first-team reps in store for Steve Williams, Richard Marshall.

Rich Ohrnberger looks to finish practice at first-team center. Nick Hardwick on sideline, left arm wrapped, watching team drills.

Clary is sejti, hogy a Boltsról levéve nem sok hely van neki a ligában. Az is fura, hogy itt eltartják. Elvan mint befőtt évek óta, ennyit megtehetett.

Nagyjából az 1.6 meg a cut között kellett választania. Még ő sem annyira hülye, hogy utóbbira szavazzon.

JJ , Freeney és Royal után ez a 4. újra tervezett szerződés. De ezzel nyertünk a legjobb helyett , majdnem 3 misit. Így most 4,2 misi helyünk van még a sapka alatt.

Saját meglátások erről az 53as listáról :
Bár idén nem láttam még edzésen Guy-t , de meglepődnék ,ha Scafe kerülne be helyette. Ajirotutu-nak is lesz szerintem hely, akár Reese akár Inham helyén (mind2-őt lehet PS-ben tartani). Ohrberger csak benne lesz a keretben, nem feltétlen másik OL helyén, hanem mondjuk Sorensen vagy Phillips esetleg Grice helyén is inkább látnám szívesen.

Addae vs Gilchrist, avagy ki lesz a kezdő SS:

I would take Addae as the better fill defender and I don't think it's close. When Addae does make a mistake, it's aggressive, and you can't fault that. I also believe that he can diagnose the play faster than Gilchrist.

Addae is far from perfect, but he doesn't make these same type of mistakes as Gilchrist does. In the five games I looked at, he never had a true blown coverage that resulted in a reception for the other team. What was more impressive was Addae's understanding of the situation. For example, on a 3rd and 13, he wouldn't fall for the underneath route, would get his appropriate depth, and come and secure the tackle in front of him. Small sample size, but Addae was the better zone defender.

I would categorize both Addae and Gilchrist under adequate

For what the safeties are being asked to do, I believe Addae is your best option. Addae isn't a liability in man coverage, and better yet, won't be put in a position to guard anything but tight ends now that the team has acceptable depth at corner. Addae is more aware in zone coverage, both moving forward and backwards. He also showed serious value in something that's haunted the Chargers for a couple years now at the safety position: tackling. I had Addae for just one missed tackle in the five games.
