Soloman Thomas: this guy has contributed in multiple ways in the number of snaps he played. He has shown exceptional speed and lightning-quick first step. Early on he was suddenly penetrating the backfield in the running game and just barely missed a tackle (more like Harris ran by him). He also came through on some other plays (seems to be consistently good, if you asked me) but he couldn’t tackle Harris based on some bad angles and bad luck maybe (got run into by Maxx just a moment he was about to make a tackle in the backfield for example, but KJ Wright was there to clean it up).

The sacks he got, responding to Radman’s question, were all from the interior rush. His swim move is quite effective. And he actually has a quick spin move, too! Something we haven’t seen from an interior position for a long time…not sure if ever had that in the past lol Thomas brings finesse and speed to the interior position. I think his playing strength is fine...he’s not weak at all like some might have claimed.

The second sack was effort and discipline…Thomas kept pushing and disengaging blocks and Big Rape had to run around avoiding pressures from other DLmen. It’s a clean up sack but well played anyway because Thomas was playing through the whistle and consistently playing with 200% effort.

- Yannick: He was doubled almost every time he came on the field. But he also got through and was able to pressure Big Rape multiple times. I would say in the majority of time, Yannick came through. They couldn’t contain him. Yannick’s initial pressure was key to Maxx’s second effort that resulted in our INT. On the play Mullen gave up a catch to Diontae Johnson, Yannick almost got a sack as well...he was really close but Big Rape stepped up just in time.

- Jonathan Hankins: he is another unsung hero. This guy has been very good for so many years. He always makes positive contribution. Constant pressure up the middle. Got through into the backfields on a few plays. He flashed in some passing plays, too.

- Jefferson is effective, always. Value-for-money signing here. This guy can bull rush, can bend. Can win with power or speed. Not elite but very solid and plays well beyond his pay rate.

Quinton Jefferson 60 PFF--Much Better than last years DT
Solomon Thomas--2 sacks and 62 PFF
Yan Ngakoue--89 PFF with tons of leadership. A little banged up though

Kenyan Drake--Doing well on receiving end and filling in nicely when running

The only miss seems to be the WR Brown, but so far this has been a great Free Agent Class.
