Az NCAA szabályzata alapján heti 20 óránál többet egyetlen "tanuló" idejéből sem vehet el a sportcsapat. Kolterék szerint ez rendszerint heti 40-50 óránál állt meg. A foci miatt nem jelentkezhetett pre-med major szakra.
