Baker defended his hit on Foles and said he never threw a punch in the ensuing incident.

"The whistle had not been blown," Baker said. "[Foles] was going towards the ball. The ball carrier was taking a right and he could have made the tackle. I did not even really hit him hard. I just happened to hit him on his shoulder and he happened to fall. He's the quarterback and I guess that's why there was an ejection."

Foles appeared shaken up by the hit. But by the time the two teams were ordered to retreat to their own sidelines and officials sorted out the situation, Foles was able to remain in the game.

The Eagles and Redskins scuffled along Washington's sideline following a hard hit on Philadelphia quarterback Nick Foles.
"He got me pretty good. I did not see him," Foles said. "I thought the guy was down so that's why I wasn't looking for anyone. The next thing I know I'm just obliterated."

Peters quickly reacted to the hit on Foles.

"He was cheap shotted. I mean, he cheap shotted him and he's not even trying to make a play," Peters said. "So I just reacted and I shouldn't have did what I did, but I was just trying to protect my quarterback."

"I really wasn't thinking," Peters added. "I saw him hit Nick and I just reacted. ... I wasn't trying to hurt my team. I know I need to be out there, but I'm just glad that we won."

Redskins linebacker Brian Orakpo chalked the incident up to the divisional rivalry.

"Everybody was in the brawl. You don't know what's going on in a situation like that," Orakpo said. "You're just trying to protect your teammates. It's NFC East football; that's how it be sometimes."sapka

Úgy tűnik a liga is egyetért Baker-rel:
"Baker didn't do anything wrong with that hit," NFL's executive vice president of football operations Troy Vincent said. "When you look at the rule, he didn't do anything illegal.

"People can say it's a cheap shot and you can talk about whether it might fall under unsportsmanlike conduct. But when you know the rule and you look at the play, he didn't hit him in the head. He didn't hit him in the neck. We looked at it. I looked at it very closely. He's not going to be fined for that."

Ezeket nyugodtan áttolhatnád az Eagles topikba is. Túl lett ez a mi részünkről spilázva. Keménykedtek kicsit a srácok, ahogy egy Skins - Eagles meccsen szinte mindig. Mindkét csapat elégedett lehet, hogy bevédték egymást a társak. Egy-két parasztlengő elszállt, jól van ez így.

Nagyon kemény ütközet volt ahogy az várható is volt...szokás szerint túlpörögték a játékosok.Ez most elég csúnyára sikeredett......

Gratulálok srácok nagy meccs volt, ahogy tartottam tőle Cousins-l mi meg ti jól jártok. Nagyon jó védelmetek van ami a run-D-t illeti, nem sok csapat fogja ezt megtenni ellenünk a pass D-n még kicsit javítani kell 😛 sok sikert még találkozunk 😀!

szoros meccsen nem fér bele, hogy a spec team enged egy TD-t, és a kicker 32-ről hibázik...

Cousins kicsit elszúrta az utolsó két driveot, nem volt most elég clutch, de a WR-k sem adtak neki sokat helyet, és Morris sem tudott futni
szóval az esély megvolt nyerni
mert megcsinálta a magának!!!!!, de most nem tudott nyerni 😕,
remélem tanul belőle, és összeszedi magát

Na most nem tennèm le a nagyesküt, hogy nem Poz csapta oda a bokàjàt.

De lehet, hogy eccerűen nem bírja az NFL-t, túlterheltèk a szervezetét ès ennyi, gidalàb nem bírja.

A cikk arról szól hogy preventíve, hogy lehetne elkerülni a tèrdsèrülèseket, nem èn írtam, de èrdekes. Èn a halàlról írtam, majha aktuàlis lesz berakom.

Én azt látom hogy mozgásirányba kap egy lökést amikor bal boka még a levegőben, de közvetlen a földetérés előtt és emiatt fordul alá. Amúgy a képen mikor viszik le és integet az első amit kiszúrtam hogy nem túl előnyös a stoplisa amit visel. Valami ritkább nyújtott formájú stoplikkal operáló cipő szerencsésebb lenne. Nem emiatt a bokasérülés miatt hanem a térde miatt.
